ThousandWorlds Explorer is a free tool for education, research, and exploration. By using it, you agree to these terms. They're meant to be plain and fair.
The explorer lets you browse discovered exoplanets, view simulated climates, and build hypothetical worlds. It is provided free of charge for learning and exploration.
The climates, temperatures, and "worlds" shown here are simulated analogies built on the ThousandWorlds climate benchmark and the NASA Exoplanet Archive. They are not observations, not predictions of what a real planet is actually like, and not habitability claims. Treat them as a way to build intuition and ask questions, not as scientific conclusions or measurements.
If you create an account, you're responsible for the activity under it. Sign-in is handled via a magic link or Google. See our Privacy Policy for what we store and how to delete it.
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for decisions made based on its outputs.
